The offices of Dr. Howard Chasolen and Dr. Bradley Shemluck are looking for the very best of the best. We are seeking a full-time dental hygienist to join our team to provide maintenance and therapy services at the highest level for Sarasota's premier concierge restorative dental practice. Applicants must have at least five years of experience, a passion for their work, a behaviorally mature set of communication skills and the desire to never compromise. We are looking for a long-term, key player to embrace the culture of a fee for service practice, providing a truly unique dental experience with integrity. Compensation and benefits are commensurate with skill, experience, caring, commitment and maturity. RESPONSIBILITIES: Screening patients, including conducting mouth assessments and reviewing oral health history. Educating patients on proper teeth and gum care and the importance on oral health. Demonstrate proficiency in traditional and digital impressions, ensuring accurate and efficient results. Sterilizing dental instruments and equipment. Removing plaque, cleaning teeth, and helping to prevent gum disease. Supporting the Dentist on all aspects of dental care. Staying current with the latest developments in dentistry. Collecting medical and dental histories from patients. Charting dental conditions based on observations and evaluations. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Degree in Dental Hygiene; valid license to practice. Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist. In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g., OSHA, HIPAA). Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and reliability. NICE TO HAVES: Experience with dental software and digital X-ray systems.
