Dynamic dental team seeking motivated Dental Receptionist / Front Desk in Los Gatos, CA

Overview
Our friendly and growing dental office is looking for a Front Desk Team Member who is comfortable supporting the front office of a Modern Dental clinic.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a variety of responsibilities and working closely with a supportive team.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and check them in efficiently using Patient Management System, we use Eaglesoft but are open to changing as our needs or team members needs change.
• Manage appointment scheduling, cancellations, and follow-ups to optimize daily patient flow
• Verify patient insurance details and process medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Maintain accurate medical records, update patient histories, and handle medical coding for billing purposes
• Handle administrative duties such as answering phones, managing correspondence, and coordinating with insurance providers
• Work with 3rd party insurance and billing teams

Skills

• Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and infection control protocols is required
• Familiarity with medical documentation standards and HIPAA compliance to ensure patient privacy
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages, fostering a positive experience and learning experience
• Understanding of medical imaging technology including 3D scanners, chair side milling machines and X-ray equipment is a plus
• Qualifications:
• Dental Assistant experience preferred but not required
• Front desk or dental office experience
• Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
• Positive attitude and team-player mindset
