Dental office seeking qualified Dental Assistant in Anaheim, CA

Our dental practice is seeking an exceptional Dental Assistant to join our team of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Support

• Assist the dentist during a variety of procedures (restorative, surgical, cosmetic, Implant, Ortho, etc.)
• Prepare and break down treatment rooms before and after each patient
• Ensure all instruments and materials are ready and organized for procedures
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe clinical environment

Patient Care

• Greet and prepare patients for treatment
• Take and record medical histories and vital signs as needed
• Provide chairside support and reassurance during procedures
• Deliver post-operative instructions and patient education

Radiography & Imaging

• Take dental X-rays and digital scans 
• Ensure proper positioning and safety protocols

Sterilization & Infection Control

• Sterilize instruments and maintain sterilization logs
• Follow OSHA and infection control standards
• Monitor inventory of clinical supplies and restock as needed

Administrative Support (as needed)

• Assist with scheduling and patient flow coordination
• Update patient records accurately in practice management software
• Support front desk during peak times

Qualifications

• Dental Assistant certification 
• X-ray certification 
• Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and terminology
• Familiarity with dental software systems 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
