We are growing and looking to add a full-time Registered Dental Hygienist who is patient-centered, motivated, and enjoys working in a collaborative practice. About the Role The Registered Dental Hygienist will play a key role in providing exceptional preventive and periodontal care while educating patients on oral health. The ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Perform adult and pediatric prophylaxis Complete periodontal charting and scaling Take digital X-rays Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care Identify periodontal disease and assist with treatment planning Maintain accurate clinical documentation Support a smooth and positive patient experience Work collaboratively with the doctor and clinical team Requirements Active Alabama Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license Ability to take digital X-rays Comfortable diagnosing and treating periodontal disease Strong patient communication and education skills Team-oriented with a positive attitude Dentrix experience preferred Schedule The practice currently operates Monday - Wednesday 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM and Thursdays 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM, with plans to expand hours in the future. Flexibility is required as schedules and daily hours may adjust.
