Responsibilities Perform thorough patient assessments, including dental examinations and medical history reviews, utilizing dental terminology accurately. Deliver a wide range of dental treatments such as restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and oral surgery procedures with precision and care. Utilize dental imaging tools and adhere to infection control protocols to ensure safe and effective treatment environments. Maintain detailed medical documentation and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and office standards. Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during procedures. Educate patients on oral health practices, treatment options, and preventive care to promote long-term dental wellness. Stay current with advancements in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and related fields through ongoing professional development. Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Dentist with current certification to practice dentistry. Proven experience in general dentistry with familiarity in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and dental fabrication. Proficiency in using dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques. Experience working in a fast-paced dental clinic environment with excellent patient care skills. Ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, and other complex procedures confidently. Knowledge of medical imaging techniques and the ability to interpret results accurately.
