Dental Sterilization Technician - Aurora Children's Dentistry - Anchorage, AK

We’re looking for a motivated, eager-to-learn sterilization technician for our office. Your primary job will be to follow protocols to maintain clean and sterile dental instruments, restocking supplies, cleaning and setting up dental operatories for procedures. Additional duties may include seating patients and helping the dental assistant team stay on task, and/or learning front desk duties. This is an opportunity for growth within the dental office, as many sterilization technicians have progressed to dental assistants or administrative assistants by gaining on-the-job training. Compensation: $18 - $20 hourly Responsibilities: Sterilize and lay out dental instruments and get all equipment ready, such as x-ray machines, anesthetics, and impression materials, to prepare treatment rooms for examinations and dental procedures Clean all dental operatories after treatment is completed Restock dental supplies and materials Assist the team in seating patients and keeping the schedule on track Open-minded to additional training, such as dental assisting or front desk duties Qualifications: Possess the ability to provide patients with excellent care and service Superb multitasking, interpersonal, and communication skills About Company We are a state-of-the-art Pediatric Dental Office located in Providence Hospital.
