Job Overview As a Dental Hygiene Assistant, you will be reporting to the hygienist and dentist, keeping a busy two column day running. Duties Turning over operatories and bringing back patients. Transcribing treatment plans given by the dentist. Polishing, flossing and taking x-rays on patients. Sterilizing instruments used in the Hygiene columns. Preparing for the next day with the hygienist to be ready and on the same page. Experience Dental Assisting experience preferred Customer service experience preferred, able to hold conversation with patients and ease anxiety We are willing to provide training for the right person Has strong time management skills Has strong communication skills Hours Monday 8:30 am to 5:30 pm Tuesday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Thursday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm We are a fast growing practice, and plan to add Wednesday's 8:30 am - 5:30 pm sometime mid to late summer.
