Job Summary Weâre looking for a friendly, detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our awesome dental clinic team! In this role, youâll be a key part of delivering great patient care while helping keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes. Duties Assist the dentist during a variety of procedures while keeping things clean, organized, and running efficiently. Keep dental records accurate and up-to-date so everything stays on track. Use four-handed dentistry techniques to help procedures go smoothly and efficiently. Chat with patients about oral hygiene and post-treatment care so they feel confident when they leave. Handle dental instruments and materials carefully and correctly. Help schedule appointments and keep patient flow moving throughout the day. Maintain a clean, organized operatory and ensure equipment is ready to go. Work closely with the team to create a positive, welcoming experience for every patient. Experience Dental assisting experience is a plus, but not required; weâre happy to train the right person! Experience with Dentrix is a bonus. Basic knowledge of general dentistry procedures is helpful. Strong communication skills and a team-player mindset are a must. Familiarity with dental terminology and basic documentation practices is important.
