Part-Time Dental Hygienist — Position type: Part-time (2 days/week), with potential of adding a third day in the future. Location : Sedona, Arizona Arizona Biological Dentistry is a patient-centered holistic dental practice committed to whole-body wellness, biocompatible materials, and education-first care. What You’ll Do Provide exceptional preventive care including prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and individualized home care coaching Complete thorough periodontal assessments and document findings accurately Take diagnostic-quality digital radiographs Support a wellness-based approach through patient education on oral-systemic connections, nutrition, airway/breathing considerations, and inflammation reduction (within scope of practice) Maintain infection control standards and operatory readiness Collaborate with the dentist and team to support comprehensive treatment plans Create a welcoming experience that prioritizes comfort, empathy, and informed consent Qualifications Current Dental Hygienist license in Arizona Current CPR/BLS certification Strong periodontal knowledge and gentle clinical technique Experience with digital radiography and dental software (Dexis and Open Dental) Professional communication skills and a team-first mindset Preferred (Nice to Have) Interest or experience in holistic/integrative dentistry and wellness-based patient education Experience supporting periodontal therapy protocols and adjunctive options (as directed by the dentist) Familiarity with airway-focused screening (within office protocols) Comfort working with anxious patients using compassionate communication techniques This is a part-time position scheduled (2 days per week) from 9:00 AM–4:00 PM .
