This position offers handsâon clinical training in both restorative and surgical dentistry, including fourâ and sixâhanded dentistry , with exposure to advanced technologies and procedures. Key Responsibilities Prepare and maintain treatment rooms by ensuring proper sterilization, organization, and setup for surgical and restorative procedures Assist dentists during a wide range of procedures including prosthodontic surgical and restorative cases , utilizing fourâ and sixâhanded dentistry techniques Follow detailed clinical and surgical setup protocols to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and patient safety Manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high level of precision and followâthrough for each patient Take dental Xârays using digital imaging systems and 3D scanning technology Accurately document patient histories, treatment notes, and clinical information in EMR systems (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar) Ensure all clinical documentation is completed thoroughly and in a timely manner Maintain strict adherence to infection control, aseptic technique, and HIPAA compliance Provide calm, compassionate patient support by explaining procedures, addressing concerns, and monitoring comfort Assist with patients as needed, demonstrating patience and clear communication with both the patient and team members. Support frontâoffice and administrative functions when necessary, including scheduling and records management What Weâre Looking For High school diploma or equivalent required; dental assisting education or certification preferred but not required Strong attention to detail with the ability to consistently follow established systems and protocols Willingness to learn, accept constructive feedback , and continuously improve clinical skills Ability to manage multiple responsibilities without losing accuracy or focus Interest in and aptitude for clinical procedures, surgical assisting, and dental technology Basic understanding of dental terminology, anatomy, and infection control principles Experience with dental software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Epic, or similar) is a plus Professional, calm, and supportive communication style with patients and team members Reliable, steady, and teamâfocused work ethic.
