In this role, you will assist dentists during procedures, manage patient records, and ensure the clinic operates smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms with sterilized instruments, dental materials, and supplies. Assist dentists during various procedures including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and other specialties by providing chairside support with dental terminology, X-ray techniques, and vital signs monitoring. Operate dental equipment such as 3D scanners, X-ray machines, and digital imaging systems for accurate medical documentation and records management. Take accurate medical and dental histories. Educate patients on post-treatment care instructions and dental health practices using clear communication of dental terminology. Support the team with helping input treatment plans for doctors. Experience Prior experience working in a dental clinic setting is highly preferred; familiarity with general dentistry procedures. Proficiency in dental assisting techniques such as chairside assisting, taking X-rays, vital signs measurement, and infection control practices. Willing to train if no prior experience. Ability to operate advanced dental technology including 3D scanners and imaging equipment confidently. Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge related to oral structures, and medical terminology relevant to dentistry. Certification in dental assisting or relevant training programs is advantageous; ongoing professional development in areas like infection control or new dental technologies is encouraged.
