Job Summary Fallon Dental Studio is searching for an experienced Lead Dental Assistant to join our dental team! They will oversee daily clinical operations, support dental practitioners, and ensure exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate is a team player, an excellent communicator, has a positive persona, is flexible with changes, a go-getter, and full of ideas to help our office reach its full potential. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the clinical schedule and activities of dental assistants. Assist the dentist and hygienist in procedures including general dentistry, periodontics, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery utilizing four-handed dentistry techniques. Set up operatories with necessary instruments and materials, ensuring aseptic techniques and infection control protocols are strictly followed. Document accurate patient records in Curve Hero - treatment planning with proper codes and assiting doctor with clinical notes Take dental radiographs, intraoral photos, and digital scans. Educate patients on oral health procedures, treatment options, and post-treatment care. Maintain inventory of dental supplies, communicate with dental reps, and assist in ordering necessary materials to ensure uninterrupted clinic operations. Maintain proper sterilization procedures and ensure compliance with regulations and standards including HIPAA, OSHA, infection control, radiology, MSDS, CPR, etc. Communicate with dental labs regarding status of lab cases Experience Experience as a Dental Assistant within a busy dental clinic environment preferred. Strong knowledge of dental treatment options, confident in chairside assisting procedures and dental imaging. Familiar with charting and coding in a dental software. Knowledge of infection control standards, aseptic techniques, and sterilization processes aligned with OSHA guidelines. If you feel like this could be a good fit, we want to meet you!!
