Dental Hygienist - Centennial Dentistry - Englewood, CO

Job Summary We are looking for a licensed dental hygienist, no prior experience needed. You will be expected to perform all the necessary functions and duties of a hygienist. You will 7 to 8 patients a day, an hour per patient excluding SRP and new patient. You will have autonomy in your schedule. Our cultural is important and this takes precedence. We work three days a week(Tuesday 9-5:30pm, Wednesday and Thursday 7:30-4pm) and we guarantee you 24 hours of work a week. We offer 48 hours of PTO. We also offer 3.5% 401k matching and monthly health insurance reimbursement. We are a small mainly fee for service office located in South Denver/DTC area. Duties Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history review, and oral examinations. Assist with chairside procedures such as taking dental radiographs and preparing treatment areas. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term dental health. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in electronic health record (EHR), ensuring HIPAA compliance. Support infection control protocols by practicing aseptic techniques and sterilizing instruments according to industry standards. Review documentation for accuracy, assist with dental coding, and ensure proper documentation of patient care activities. Monitor patient vital signs before procedures to ensure safety and assess overall health status.
