Duties Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments following strict aseptic techniques and infection control protocols Assist dentists chairside during a variety of procedures in pediatric dentistry Take and develop dental X-rays (NJ x-ray license) Collect vital signs and medical history information to support comprehensive patient assessments Provide excellent dental receptionist support by scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and managing patient flow Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment adhering to infection control standards and OSHA guidelines for safety Experience Previous experience working in a pediatric dental office setting is required, with familiarity in general dentistry procedures preferred Proficiency with dental terminology, Hands-on experience with dental assisting tasks such as chairside assisting, taking X-rays, Understanding of infection control practices, aseptic techniques, anatomy knowledge related to oral structures, and pediatric dentistry procedures will set candidates apart Must be dependable and on time Embark on a rewarding career where your skills make a meaningful difference!
