Pediatric Dentist (Pedodontist) - Comfort Dental Spa - East Lansing, MI

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Dentist to join our growing dental practice. The ideal candidate is dedicated to providing high-quality oral healthcare to infants, children, and adolescents in a friendly, patient-focused environment. This role requires excellent clinical skills, a gentle approach, and the ability to build trust with young patients and their families. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive dental care to pediatric patients, including infants, children, and teenagers Perform examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning for oral health issues Deliver preventive care such as cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants Perform restorative procedures including fillings, crowns, and space maintainers Manage dental emergencies and trauma cases in children Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene, diet, and preventive care Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws Administer behavior management techniques to ensure a comfortable patient experience Collaborate with orthodontists and other specialists when needed Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with regulations Follow all infection control and safety protocols Qualifications & Requirements DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school Completion of an accredited Pediatric Dentistry residency program Active state dental license in Michigan Board certification or board-eligible by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry (preferred) DEA certification CPR/BLS certification Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively with children, including those with special needs Preferred Skills Experience with sedation dentistry (nitrous oxide, oral sedation, or IV sedation) Familiarity with modern dental technology and digital charting systems Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Work Environment Modern, fully equipped pediatric dental office Supportive team including dental assistants and hygienists Child-friendly atmosphere focused on comfort and care How to Apply Interested candidates should submit their resume and cover letter through Indeed Pay: $110.00 - $125.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location: In person
