Job Overview Our growing dental practice is looking for an energetic, motivated Registered Dental Assistant to join our outstanding team! This role involves supporting dentists during procedures, managing patient records, and ensuring the highest standards of infection control and safety. Experience with EMR systems such as Dentrix, and Open Dental is preferred. Candidates with backgrounds in orthodontics, endodontics, or general dentistry will be highly valued. Bilingual is a plus!. The The position offers an engaging work environment focused on comprehensive dental health services. Duties Assist dentists chairside during various dental procedures including restorations, extractions, and endodontic treatments Take X-rays and other medical imaging as required Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials following aseptic techniques Educate patients on dental procedures, post-operative care, and oral health maintenance Conduct infection control protocols to ensure a sterile environment Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing medical documentation Maintain knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy. Support the use of advanced technology including 3D scanners for diagnostics and treatment planning Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry setups to optimize workflow Experience Proven experience as a Registered Dental Assistant in a clinical setting with proficiency in chairside assisting and infection control practices Familiarity with EMR systems such as Dentrix, or Open Dental is highly desirable Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards Experience working within general dentistry or specialties like orthodontics or endodontics is a plus Ability to perform X-ray procedures accurately and safely while adhering to radiation safety standards Bilingual is a Plus !
