Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic Pediatric dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering exceptional services. This position requires excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Able to work Saturdays. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow. Perform coronal polish to our pediatric patients. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols. Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems. Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans. Support pediatric dentistry practices by creating a welcoming environment for young patients. Experience Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is a plus but not mandatory; we welcome enthusiastic candidates eager to learn. Experience with Dentrix and Dexis software is a plus.
