Job Overview Brand-new pediatric dental office in Babylon, NY is seeking a passionate and dedicated Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our growing team! The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about patient care and excited to contribute to a friendly, supportive, and professional environment. Dental assisting experience is required. Responsibilities Include Welcome patients and families while fostering a friendly, child-centered atmosphere Guide patients to treatment areas and help them feel at ease during their visit Assist dentist chair side using four-handed dentistry Prepare rooms for both scheduled and same-day procedures Turn over and disinfect treatment rooms efficiently between patients Sterilize instruments Take diagnostic radiographs for pediatric patients Assist with both clinical and administrative tasks as we grow (including scheduling and answering phones) Maintain accurate patient records in our electronic medical record system (Curve) Educate children and parents on oral hygiene, post-treatment care, and preventive practices Qualifications Comfortable working with children in a clinical setting Strong communication skills with children of varying developmental stages Basic computer proficiency Excellent multitasking and time management abilities Team-oriented with a positive, can-do attitude Dental assisting experience required Schedule Wednesday–Friday: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM Opportunity to transition to a full-time schedule in the future Why Join Us?
