Permanent Dental Assistant Job in San Carlos, CA
Job Title: Part-Time Dental Assistant We are looking for a reliable, motivated, and patient-focused Part-Time Dental Assistant to join our team! This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality patient care. Schedule: Part-time/full time (days and hours to be discussed) Office hours are MondayâThursday, with occasional Fridays and one Saturday per month Key Responsibilities: Assist the dentist during a variety of procedures Prepare and break down treatment rooms Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols Take dental X-rays Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after treatment Maintain accurate patient records and charting Assist with seating patients and preparing them for treatment Provide support to both front and back office as needed Qualifications: Previous dental assisting experience preferred Must have a valid X-ray license Current Infection Control certification required Current CPR certification required Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and sterilization protocols Strong organizational and multitasking skills Good communication skills and a professional demeanor Ability to work well in a team environment Preferred Skills: Experience with Dentrix Ascend or Dentrix Spanish-speaking ability is a plus (not required) What Weâre Looking For: A dependable team player with a positive attitude who is willing to jump in where needed and help create a smooth, efficient, and welcoming environment for our patients.
