Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and compassionate General Dentist, Endodontist and Orthodontist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive dental care, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient education, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and comfort. This role involves working with a diverse patient population, including pediatric and adult patients, utilizing advanced dental technology and adhering to strict infection control protocols. The successful candidate will have experience with dental office software such as Ascend and Dentrix, and possess strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical documentation, and HIPAA regulations. Responsibilities Perform a wide range of general dentistry procedures including examinations, restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics. Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history review and dental examinations using medical imaging techniques. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences while explaining procedures clearly. Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize efficiency and patient comfort during procedures. Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and dental documentation standards. Ensure infection control through proper aseptic techniques and adherence to sterilization protocols. Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists to deliver seamless patient care in a professional environment. Stay current with advancements in dentistry by participating in continuing education opportunities related to pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and other specialties as needed. Uphold all safety standards related to medical terminology, dental fabrication, and medical records management. Qualifications DDS or DMD degree from an accredited institution; licensure to practice dentistry in the state required. Proven experience in general dentistry with proficiency in dental office software such as Ascend, or Dentrix preferred. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, infection control practices, and HIPAA compliance. Experience with pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics (including root canal therapy), prosthodontics, and dental extractions is highly desirable. Ability to perform procedures using aseptic technique and maintain high standards of patient care and safety. Excellent communication skills for effective patient assessment and education. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently within a team in a fast-paced clinical environment with a focus on patient satisfaction.
