Job Overview Our private, fee-for-service, pediatric dental office is looking for a friendly, reliable, team oriented, and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic pediatric dental team. Your expertise will help create a positive and healthy experience for our young patients and their families in a kid-friendly environment. Our team provides great customer service and we work to build relationships with our patient families and with each other. We work closely with each other to uphold the highest standards of infection control, documentation, and patient safety while utilizing digital x-rays, intra-oral cameras, and dental software. Responsibilities and Qualifications Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and prophylaxis procedures on pediatric patients, ensuring comfort and safety at all times Educate young patients and their parents on proper oral hygiene practices, dietary habits, and preventive care strategies Maintain a sterile environment by following OSHA guidelines, infection control standards, and proper documentation review procedures Have a valid and current Texas licensure as a Dental Hygienist Desire to work with children and special needs patients Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control practices Comfortable with computers and using dental software (we use Dentrix Ascend) Ability to communicate effectively with children and their families to ensure a positive experience Commitment to maintaining HIPAA compliance Join us in making a difference in children's lives by providing outstanding pediatric dental care!
