Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Associate General Dentist to join our innovative teledentistry team. Duties Conduct thorough virtual patient assessments using secure telehealth platforms, including detailed medical and dental history reviews. Diagnose dental conditions accurately through digital imaging, patient-reported symptoms, and medical records analysis. Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with best practices in general dentistry, including restorative procedures, endodontics (root canal therapy), prosthodontics, and oral surgery when necessary. Provide clear, empathetic patient education on oral health maintenance, treatment options, and post-procedure care via video consultations. Collaborate with dental hygienists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care while adhering to HIPAA regulations and infection control standards. Document all patient interactions meticulously in electronic health records systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar platforms. Manage dental fabrication processes remotely when applicable, including crown or prosthetic planning and follow-up. Experience Valid state dental license with eligibility for remote practice in accordance with local regulations. Proven experience in general dentistry with proficiency in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, and prosthodontics. Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy, infection control protocols, and aseptic techniques. Prior experience in dental office or clinic environments emphasizing patient care and medical documentation standards. Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance and medical imaging techniques relevant to teledentistry. Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients and coordinate care remotely.
