Duties Perform general dentistry procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, and prosthodontics with precision and care Conduct detailed patient assessments, including oral examinations and medical history reviews, to develop personalized treatment plans Execute complex dental procedures such as root canal therapy, dental extractions, and oral surgery while adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols Utilize dental terminology accurately when documenting medical records and treatment notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations Collaborate seamlessly with dental assistants using four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize patient flow and comfort Interpret medical imaging and dental radiographs to diagnose issues accurately and plan appropriate interventions Maintain thorough documentation of all procedures, ensuring compliance with medical documentation standards and legal requirements Experience Proven experience in general dentistry with a strong background in pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery preferred Proficiency in using Dentrix Ascend for scheduling, documentation, and record keeping Demonstrated knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques essential for safe practice Prior experience working in a busy dental clinic or office environment that emphasizes patient care excellence and teamwork Ability to perform dental fabrications such as crowns or bridges is a plus but not required Excellent communication skills for explaining treatment options clearly to patients of all ages including pediatrics Commitment to ongoing professional development in areas like pediatric dentistry, endodontics, or implantology is highly valued Embark on a rewarding career where your skills make a tangible difference!
