Duties Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments to maintain optimal oral health. Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions to inform treatment plans. Take X-rays and intra-oral photographs. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote lifelong dental health. Maintain accurate charts using Dentrix. Requirements Valid Alaska state licensure as a Dental Hygienist. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively and communicate clearly.
