Dental Assistant (DA) – Cal Kids Dental (Perris, CA) Cal Kids Dental is a friendly, fast‑paced pediatric dental office in Perris, CA, focused on creating positive dental experiences for children and their families. We are looking for a responsible and warm Dental Assistant to join our team and support our RDA’s and dentists in delivering high‑quality care. Position Overview The ideal candidate enjoys working with kids, communicates well with both children and parents, and takes pride in a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment. You will help with instrument preparation, patient flow, and daily office operations. Responsibilities Prepare operatories and assist with instrument setup and cleanup Sterilize instruments and maintain autoclave and sterilization logs Assist RDA’s and dentists chairside as directed Take and process intraoral photographs (after training) Help with patient flow, including sanitizing toys/tables and greeting families Support front‑office tasks when needed (filing, supply organization, etc.) Follow infection control, OSHA, and safety protocols Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Basic dental assistant training or experience preferred (not required) Willingness to obtain on‑the‑job training in X‑ray, radiography, and pediatric workflow Strong communication and interpersonal skills Reliability, punctuality, and comfort working with children Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus What We Offer Competitive hourly pay based on experience Training and opportunities to grow into an RDA role (support with certification/x‑ray if desired) Supportive team environment focused on kids and families Consistent schedule with work‑life balance Location: Perris, CA Schedule: [Full‑time / Part‑time – specify] If you love working with children and want to build a career in pediatric dentistry, we would love to hear from you!
