Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental tools, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly in accordance with infection control protocols. Assist dentists during various procedures including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry, providing chairside support with precision and care. Gather vital signs and medical history information from patients to support comprehensive treatment planning. Educate patients on oral health practices, post-treatment care, and explain procedures using clear dental terminology. Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, answering phones as a dental receptionist, and maintaining organized medical records for efficient clinic operations. Uphold infection control standards through proper sterilization procedures and knowledge of anatomy to assist with complex procedures confidently. SKILLS Excellent communication skills to educate patients clearly about treatments while demonstrating professionalism as a dental receptionist when needed.
