Registered Dental Assistant - La Verne Dental & Implant Center - La Verne, CA

Full time position available for a motivated, organized, outgoing and energetic individual for a well-established private practice in Laverne. We are looking for a person who can work independently, has good customer service and communication skills. Someone who is looking for a long term position and seeking growth. The candidate must be able to multitask, be a fast learner and be able to work in a fast pace environment. Must have good working ethic, be at work on time and maintain professional behavior at all times. Must be able to work independently and help create a professional environment. Must have basic knowledge in chair side assisting as necessary for the best possible patient care and customer service. RDA certified ,CPR and X-Ray license active. Bilingual in Spanish a plus. Available to work Monday through Friday. Job duties and skill level must include but are not limited to: - Position for RDA - Perform functions in accordance with the applicable state's OSHA and Dental Auxiliaries Table of Permitted Duties. -Must be familiar with set ups for restorative dentistry, endo, oral surgery, and perio. - Experience in implant dentistry a plus. - Must have knowledge in instrument disinfection and sterilization guidelines according to state agencies. - Must be able to take good quality digital X-Rays. - Set up trays, prepare patients and chair side assisting. - Obtain dental history and prepare patient for procedure. - Maintain strict compliance with State and Federal regulations. - Under supervision of the dentist: give post operative/oral health care instructions, record patient charting and all doctor notes on treatment record. - Two years minimum experience preferred. Certificates/Licenses/Registrations: As mandated by California (e.g. coronal polish, x-ray exposure, ultrasonic scaling for orthodontic procedures, pit and fissure sealant application, etc).
