Job Title: Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) – PPO Office | $23–$30/hr | Bakersfield, CA Job Summary We are a busy, PPO-focused dental office in Bakersfield, CA seeking a skilled and personable Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our team. Our practice no longer accepts new Denti-Cal patients and focuses on PPO and fee-for-service care, allowing us to prioritize quality dentistry and a positive patient experience. We are looking for an RDA who is not only clinically strong but also enjoys building relationships with patients, supporting treatment acceptance, and contributing to practice growth through excellent service. Compensation $23–$30 per hour, based on experience Full-time or part-time available What You’ll Do Assist the doctor with a wide range of general dentistry procedures (restorative, crown & bridge, extractions, endo a plus) Provide an excellent patient experience by helping patients feel comfortable and informed Support case acceptance by reinforcing the doctor’s treatment recommendations in a clear, confident, and friendly manner Help educate patients on the importance and necessity of recommended treatment Promote a positive office environment that encourages patient reviews and referrals Support internal growth by helping build patient relationships and encouraging friends/family referrals Maintain accurate clinical notes and follow infection control protocols Assist with digital workflows (Open Dental experience a plus) Qualifications Active California RDA license (required) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Team-oriented with a positive attitude Experience in a PPO office preferred but not required Why Join Our Practice?
