Responsibilities Assist dentist during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all equipment is ready for use. Take and develop dental X-rays, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.. Ensure compliance with infection control protocols. Skills critical thinking skills Ability to manage time and complete daily tasks (self monitored and monitored) Proficient in dental assisting techniques and procedures. Knowledge of anatomy related to dental health. Experience with medical imaging and X-ray technology. Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential for managing multiple tasks effectively.
