Registered Dental Hygienist - Ballston Dental Center - Ballston Spa, NY

Ballston Dental is seeking a licensed Dental Hygienist to join our fee-for-service practice in Ballston Spa. Job Description: · Perform dental prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, SRP and periodontal charting · Review and update medical histories and maintain accurate patient records · Expose dental radiographs in accordance to clinical guidelines · Apply topical agents, including fluoride, desensitizing agents or anticariogenic agents as indicated · Provide patients education on oral hygiene, preventive care, and home care techniques · Assist the dentist by communicating patient conditions and supporting the overall treatment plan · Perform additional supportive services as permitted under NYS law under appropriate supervision · Adhere to all infection control, sterilization, and safety protocols Additional Information: · Local Anesthesia certification preferred; training and certification support provided by the practice · Active New York State Dental Hygienist license · Current CPR/AED certification required · One-hour patient appointments · One-hour unpaid lunch break daily · Paid holidays available immediately upon hire; paid vacation after one year of employment · Supportive and collaborative team environment with mentorship opportunities · Paid office trip to Yankee Dental Congress for continuing education · Compensation starting at $50 per hour, with opportunities for performance-based bonuses and periodic wage increases based on individual performance. · Patterson Fuse knowledge preferred Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour Benefits: Employee discount Paid time off Work Location: In person
