We are seeking an experienced Orthodontic RDA/OA to join our practice and play a key role in supporting our clinical team. Responsibilities: · Provide chairside assistance to the orthodontist during all orthodontic procedures · Take orthodontic records, including digital scans, impressions, intraoral/extraoral photos, and radiographs · Place and remove archwires, separators, and orthodontic appliances under doctor direction · Perform expanded functions permitted by the California Dental Board for RDAs/OAs · Educate patients and parents on appliance care, treatment expectations, and oral hygiene instructions · Maintain accurate patient documentation and treatment notes · Sterilize instruments, maintain infection control protocols, and support OSHA compliance · Contribute to an efficient clinical flow and a positive patient experience Qualifications: · Current California RDA/OA license and X-ray certification (must be active and in good standing) · Minimum 1–2 years of orthodontic assisting experience preferred but willing to train the right person · Strong knowledge of orthodontic procedures, appliances, and materials · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills · Detail-oriented, dependable, and a strong team player · Professional, patient-focused, and committed to high-quality care Compensation & Benefits: · Competitive pay, commensurate with experience · Benefits package ( include medical, dental, vision, 401k, vacation, holidays, sick, bonus program) · Professional and supportive work environment · Opportunities for growth and development within the practice Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $27.00 - $31.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee discount Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location: In person
