We are seeking a skilled and motivated Surgical Dental Assistant to join our growing practice. Position Overview: The Surgical Dental Assistant plays a critical role in assisting the dentist during implant surgeries and denture procedures, ensuring patient comfort, maintaining sterile environments, and supporting efficient clinical operations. Key Responsibilities: Assist the dentist during surgical procedures, including dental implants, extractions, and bone grafting Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and treatment rooms Ensure strict adherence to infection control and OSHA protocols Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays) Provide pre- and post-operative patient care instructions Monitor patients during procedures and ensure comfort and safety Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Manage inventory of surgical supplies and materials Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow Qualifications: Minimum 1–2 years of dental assisting experience (surgical or implant experience preferred) Certification in Dental Assisting (CDA or state-required certification) Knowledge of surgical procedures and sterile techniques Strong communication and patient care skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment CPR/BLS certification preferred What We Offer: Competitive pay based on experience Paid time off and holidays Supportive and team-oriented work environment Opportunities for growth and advancement Schedule: Full-time / Part-time (specify) Monday–Thursday (with occasional flexibility as needed) Join our team and be part of a practice that transforms smiles and improves lives every day.
