Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist or Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs and medical history reviews, to determine appropriate treatment plans. Perform dental cleanings, periodontal therapy, and other preventive procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques for efficiency and comfort. Assist with chairside procedures by preparing instruments, managing medical imaging, and ensuring aseptic technique adherence. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, treatment options, and post-procedure care to promote long-term oral health. Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient records, treatment notes, and medical coding in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Support infection control protocols by sterilizing equipment and maintaining a sterile clinical environment. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth workflow within the practice and provide excellent patient care at all times. Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix for efficient data management and documentation review. Requirements Valid licensure as a Dental Hygienist or Dentist with current state certification. Proven experience in general dentistry or pediatric dentistry within a clinical setting. Proficiency in dental terminology, medical terminology, and medical coding practices. Familiarity with dental office software including Eaglesoft and Dentrix EMR systems. Strong knowledge of anatomy, infection control procedures, and aseptic techniques. Experience with pediatric dentistry is preferred but not mandatory; excellent patient care skills are essential for all age groups. Ability to perform vital signs measurement, medical imaging interpretation, and patient assessment accurately. Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate with team members.
