Responsibilities Perform a wide range of dental procedures including dental examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and oral surgery with precision and care. Conduct thorough patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, dental charts, and radiographs using medical imaging tools. Utilize dental terminology accurately to communicate diagnoses and treatment plans clearly to patients. Ensure strict infection control protocols are followed through aseptic techniques and proper sterilization procedures. Maintain detailed medical documentation and update patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and office policies. Collaborate with the dental team to deliver four-handed dentistry for efficient patient care delivery. Use dental office software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for scheduling, charting, billing, and record keeping. Qualifications Valid state license to practice dentistry with current credentials. Proven experience in general dentistry with a focus on patient care and treatment planning. Proficiency in dental terminology, medical terminology, and understanding of anatomy relevant to oral health. Experience with dental fabrication techniques and proficiency in performing dental extractions and root canal therapy. Knowledge of infection control standards, aseptic techniques, and medical imaging procedures. Strong communication skills to explain treatment options clearly and compassionately to patients of all ages. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
