About Us Our established family practice located by O'Connor Hospital in San Jose, CA has a well developed hygiene program. Our patients are the best! They have been educated for the best oral hygiene to keep their teeth for a lifetime and their smiles bright. We are seeking a temporary Dental Hygienist for the following period while our RDH is on Maternity Leave: May 5 to Nov. 10, 2026 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm Responsibilities 8 patients per day Screening patients during checkups Reviewing a patient’s dental history Recommending care to improve a patient’s oral health Teaching patients about proper teeth cleaning techniques Excellent prophylaxis, occasional SRP with laser Applying fluoride treatments Taking x-rays and reviewing them for signs of dental diseases We have both an Extra Oral Vacuum machine and a Surgically Clean Air Machine in the hygiene room for polishing and Cavitron use.
