Responsibilities Perform pediatric dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning with precision and compassion. Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment. Educate patients and their guardians on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive measures, and treatment options. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient four-handed dentistry practices that optimize patient care and clinic workflow. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations Requirements Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited institution. Valid state licensure to practice dentistry with specialization or certification in pediatric dentistry preferred. Excellent patient care skills with an empathetic approach tailored to children’s needs. Familiarity with infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, and HIPAA compliance standards. Ability to communicate effectively with young patients, parents, and team members while maintaining professionalism.
