Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Dentist to join our vibrant dental team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring optimal oral health and patient satisfaction. Duties Perform thorough patient assessments, including dental examinations, medical history reviews, and oral health evaluations using advanced medical imaging techniques. Deliver a wide range of general dentistry procedures such as dental cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges, prosthodontics, and root canal therapy. Conduct oral surgeries including extractions and other minor surgical procedures following aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety. Utilize dental terminology accurately to explain diagnoses and treatment plans clearly to patients. Maintain precise medical documentation and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and office protocols. Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during procedures. Ensure infection control standards are strictly followed to prevent cross-contamination and promote a sterile environment. Use dental fabrication techniques for prosthodontics and restorative work as needed. Stay updated on the latest advancements in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, and oral surgery to provide state-of-the-art care. Assist in patient education regarding oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies to promote lifelong oral health. Qualifications Valid state license to practice dentistry with current credentials in good standing. Proven experience working in a dental clinic or dental office environment with familiarity in Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix practice management software. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, infection control protocols, and HIPAA compliance. Expertise in pediatric dentistry, endodontics (root canal therapy), prosthodontics, oral surgery (including extractions), and general dentistry procedures. Ability to perform dental extractions safely and efficiently while maintaining aseptic technique standards. Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach towards diverse patient populations including pediatrics. Proficiency in medical documentation, medical imaging interpretation, and understanding of medical records management. Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team practicing four-handed dentistry techniques for optimal patient outcomes. Knowledge of medical records systems and experience with electronic health records (EHR) is preferred.
