Your expertise in general dentistry combined with proficiency in digital health records and imaging will drive positive patient outcomes and elevate the standard of virtual dental care. Duties Conduct comprehensive patient assessments using digital health records and medical imaging tools to determine dental needs accurately. Provide expert consultation and treatment planning for a wide range of dental conditions, including restorative, endodontic, prosthodontic, and pediatric cases. Perform dental procedures such as dental extractions, root canal therapy, and oral surgeries utilizing aseptic techniques and infection control protocols. Utilize electronic health record systems like Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix, and other dental software to document medical records, treatment notes, and patient histories thoroughly. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, treatment options, and post-procedure care through virtual communication channels. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care coordination while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and data security. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology to ensure accurate diagnosis and effective communication. Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Dentist with current certification in pediatric dentistry or general dentistry. Proven experience with dental office management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar platforms. Strong knowledge of dental procedures including extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery. Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and dental fabrication processes. Excellent understanding of infection control standards and aseptic techniques in a clinical setting. Ability to perform patient assessments accurately while demonstrating empathy and professionalism in virtual consultations.
