We are seeking a highly personable, motivated and compassionate Patient Care Coordinator to join our dental family. In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for patients, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience from appointment scheduling to follow-up care. Duties include but are not limited to: Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out processes efficiently Schedule and confirm appointments to meet daily production goals, coordinate multiple providers' calendars, and handle appointment modifications with ease Verify insurance coverage by performing insurance eligibility checks, process claims and follow up on any outstanding claims Coordinate communication between patients and specialty dental providers to ensure timely follow-up on referrals Maintain accurate and organized dental records in compliance with privacy regulations Support dental administrative tasks such as billing, coding, and document management Collect payments, process dental insurance collections, and handle billing activities according to our streamlined system Manage patient communications professionally by answering a multi-line phone system, utilizing our patient engagement platform and email to ensure that all patient inquiries are addressed promptly Collaboration with other teammates to aid in providing consistent, excellent patient care Comfortability discussing patient dental treatment plans and financials Qualifications: Ability to present a genuinely friendly, welcoming, and professional demeanor at all times Strong verbal/written communication and organizational skills A positive attitude and willingness to be flexible and open to change and growth A solution focused mindset on providing consistent excellent patient experience A team player who thrives in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment Prior experience in the dental field is preferred Prior experience with Dentrix dental software is a PLUS Benefits: Employee discount Health insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Work Location: In person
