Surgical Dental Assistant – Hands-On Patient Care Why You’ll Love Working With Us: We take time to get to know our patients and provide care that’s personalized and thoughtful. What You’ll Do : Prepare operatories for set-up, decontamination, sterilization, cleaning, restocking, maintaining lab & procedural areas and ensuring equipment is ready for each patient. Provides positive customer service to patients by escorting, communicating, and prepping them for care by doctor. Review history and progress of treatment plans with patients. Administers oxygen & IV sedation as needed, takes blood pressure Takes X-Rays, impressions, pours & prepares study models, coordinates lab cases. Records treatment information on patient’s charts, schedules appointments, and provides follow up and post op direction and instructions to patients.
