Duties Perform thorough patient assessments, including dental examinations, medical history reviews, and oral health evaluations. Deliver a wide range of dental treatments such as dental restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and oral surgery procedures. Utilize dental terminology accurately to communicate diagnoses and treatment plans clearly to patients. Maintain strict infection control protocols using aseptic techniques and adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy. Take and interpret medical imaging to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning. Ensure comprehensive documentation of all procedures, including medical documentation and dental fabrication records. Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry to optimize patient care efficiency and comfort. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, treatment options, and preventive care strategies tailored to pediatric dentistry or general dentistry needs. Experience Proven experience working in a dental clinic or dental office environment with a strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures. Demonstrated proficiency in performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery. Knowledge of infection control standards, aseptic techniques, and medical imaging practices essential for safe patient care. Prior experience providing pediatric dentistry services is a plus but not required; a passion for working with children is highly valued. Ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages while maintaining professionalism and empathy. Strong understanding of anatomy knowledge relevant to oral health assessments and treatments.
