Dental Hygienist - North Denver Dental and Implants - Denver, CO

Overview Our office is a long standing solo doctor practice located in North Denver, just south of Federal Heights/ Water World. We are inside of a building that trains dental assistants as well as other healthcare techs. Many of our patients have been coming here for 10, 20, or 30+ years! We are in the process of an ownership transition, with a goal of modernizing towards digital dentistry and focusing more on implants. The key characteristics of the office will remain the same- an independent owner doctor (non DSO) with a close knit team that focuses on quality care and treating each patient as if they were family. We are seeking a new Hygienist that is skilled, friendly, helpful to the team, and dependable! This is a full time position- we all value work life balance and work Monday-Thursday. Duties Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments to promote optimal oral health. Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions to tailor care plans effectively. Co diagnose with the doctor Take X-rays while ensuring proper infection control and aseptic techniques are maintained. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, dental terminology, and treatment options to foster informed decision-making. Maintain accurate dental records using Softdent (we will get you up to speed quick) Set up your own operatory and run instruments through sterilization Experience We welcome new grads or more experienced practitioners, and will compensate based on experience level/speed Knowledge of general dentistry conditions and procedures, the more the better Some familiarity with dental assisting techniques, dental coding, and documentation Proficiency in soft dent a plus but not required Strong understanding of infection control standards, and HIPAA regulations ensures safe and compliant practice.
