Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. An understanding of Dentrix is preferred. We are looking for someone who is caring, gentle, and enjoys working with people of all ages. Organization skills and promptness are essential to this position. The practice is located in Westminster. This position can be either part time or full time, working 1-5 days Compensation: Depends on experience. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments and review medical records to ensure comprehensive care. Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth, applying fluoride treatments, and educating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques. Utilize Dentrix software for documentation and patient management. Maintain aseptic technique and adhere to infection control protocols throughout all procedures. Review documentation for accuracy and completeness, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Provide guidance on preventive care and treatment options tailored to individual patient needs. Experience Previous experience as a Dental Hygienist is preferred but not needed Familiarity with Dentix or similar dental practice management systems is advantageous. Strong understanding of aseptic techniques and infection control measures in a clinical environment. A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry best practices.
