Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Sanford, FL

Our team values professionalism, teamwork, and creating positive experiences for every patient. Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and passionate about patient care. You will play a key role in supporting the dentist during procedures, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and ensuring a smooth patient experience from start to finish. Schedule (days/hours): M-TH 7-4 & 8-5 Responsibilities: Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after procedures Provide patients with post-operative care instructions Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Manage inventory and restock supplies as needed Follow all OSHA and infection control protocols Qualifications: Current Dental Assistant certification (as required by Florida law) X-ray certification required Strong knowledge of dental procedures and terminology Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Bilingual is a plus Compensation: $24-$25/hr About: Benefits are determined by employment status/hours worked and include paid time off (âPTOâ), health, dental, vision, health savings account, telemedicine, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, disability insurance, employee discount programs, pet insurance, and a 401k plan.
