Duties: As a Dental Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting our dental team in the delivery of high-quality care to our patients. Key responsibilities include: Preparing patients for appointments by explaining procedures and taking vital signs. Assisting dentists and hygienists with patient exams, X-rays, and treatments. Ability to take impressions and make temporary crown and bridge prosthetics is required. Maintaining a clean and organized dental clinic, adhering to infection control standards. Supporting administrative tasks, such as scheduling and billing. Developing strong relationships with patients and providing exceptional customer service. Skills: The successful candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications: Experience in a dental clinic, preferably in general dentistry. Proficiency in dental assisting techniques and four-handed dentistry. Familiarity with medical imaging software and X-ray technology. Knowledge of Eaglesoft preferred, but not required. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and maintaining a calm demeanor under pressure. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient care and satisfaction. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Competitive pay to start. Medical, and 401k (matching). Hours are Monday thru Thursday 8:30am to 5pm, Friday's 8:30am to 1pm. Candidate would be required to arrive no later than 8:15am to get rooms set up, and would need to be available Monday thru Friday.
