Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our dental team by providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our office. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, medical documentation, and aseptic techniques, as well as proficiency in using dental software systems. Responsibilities Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials. Maintain accurate medical documentation for patient records, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations. Utilize Dentrix Ascend software for scheduling appointments, managing patient information, and billing processes. Ensure the sterilization of instruments and adherence to aseptic techniques throughout all procedures. Housekeeping. Manage inventory of dental supplies and place orders as necessary. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a positive patient experience. Experience Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate. Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Dentrix is highly desirable. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required to maintain accurate records and manage multiple tasks efficiently. MUST HAVE X-RAY LICENSE !
