Dental Assistant - Mackenzie Dentistry - Port Orange, FL

Duties: - Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments - Take dental x-rays - Fabricate temporary crowns, essix retainers - Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care - Perform patient assessments and record medical histories - Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation using Epic or similar software - Manage and maintain dental records Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - Completion of an accredited dental assistant program - X-ray certification - Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments - Proficiency in using Eaglesoft or similar electronic medical record software - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work well in a team environment Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
