Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental EFDA to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients while ensuring their comfort and safety. This role involves performing dental cleanings, educating patients on oral hygiene, and assisting the dental team in delivering comprehensive care. A strong focus on patient interaction and infection control is essential. Duties - Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages, including pediatrics. - Document medical histories and maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with clinic policies. - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. - Assist in the development of treatment plans alongside the dentist, utilizing CAD technology when necessary. - Perform radiographic imaging as required, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. - Maintain a sterile environment by following strict infection control procedures. - Utilize Dentrix software for scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and billing processes. - Support the dental team with various tasks, including dental assisting duties when needed. Skills - Proficient in medical documentation practices within a dental clinic setting. - Experience with CAD technology and its application in general dentistry is preferred. - Knowledge of medical coding related to dental procedures is a plus. - Strong understanding of infection control protocols to ensure patient safety. - Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and interact with patients. - Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while providing exceptional patient care. - Familiarity with Dentrix software for efficient practice management is advantageous.
