Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team in either a full time or part time capacity. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental cleanings, and assisting in various procedures while ensuring a comfortable environment for our patients. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, infection control practices, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinic setting. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments and document medical histories accurately. Perform dental cleanings and provide preventive care to patients of all ages. Take and interpret medical imaging as needed for patient evaluations. Monitor vital signs and ensure patient comfort throughout their visit. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits. Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient care and clinic efficiency. Requirements Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of Ohio. Experience with Eaglesoft software preferred. Experience with digital radiographs Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and dental terminology essential. Familiarity with EMR systems and documentation review processes. Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient interactions.
