Duties CLEAN AND PREPARE ROOMS FOR PROCEDURE ASSIST DENTIST AND PROVIDE PATIENT COMFORT TAKE XRAYS ASSIST IN ROOT CANALS, SURGICAL PROCEDURES TAKE IMPRESSION, INTRAORAL SCANS, AND MAKE PROVISIONALS OPEN DENTAL KNOWLEDGE IS A PLUS Experience 2-3 YRS OF EXPERIENCE Prior experience working in a dental clinic setting is highly preferred, especially with general dentistry or pediatric dentistry environments. Proficiency in dental assisting techniques including chairside assisting, taking X-rays, and understanding dental terminology is essential. Knowledge of infection control practices, anatomy knowledge related to oral structures, and aseptic techniques are required to ensure safety standards are met. Experience with medical documentation, medical coding, and handling medical records will support accurate recordkeeping and compliance requirements. Certification in dental assisting or related fields is a plus; ongoing training in areas like endodontics or prosthodontics is encouraged to foster professional growth.
